MOP, the puppet star of KIDSVILLE, a long-running children's show on public television, wants to break out and become a "serious" actor. When he pens an anonymous poison letter to James Manderfield, KIDSVILLE's gentle and ailing creator, he facilitates the early death of not only James, but the entire show. The cancellation throws the lives of the dysfunctional puppet cast into a spiral of drug abuse, gambling addiction, careerist back-stabbing, and media manipulation. Can the cast of KIDSVILLE re-invent their lives?
