A single mother and her two young sons invent fantasies and fabricate lies to cope with the absence of their hard-drinking father. When he unexpectedly returns, dreams, deceptions, truth and reality violently collide. Subdivision is deeply indebted to the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab (2000), where it was developed and given a staged reading directed by Laramie Dennis.

Screenplay
In 2007, Synchronicity Independent Films produced a short film adaptation of Subdivision, with producers Larry Laboe and Heather Turman. It was directed by Laramie Dennis, and edited by Ricardo DeLaveaga.
