CATE BLAIR-WILHELM has been — for the past few decades — a frequent presence on stages in Columbus and around the state of Ohio, playing such recognizable roles as Nurse Ratched, Elizabeth Proctor, M’Lynn Eatenton, and Amanda Wingfield.
She is one of ten Columbus women who accepted an invitation from Stephen Sondheim to brunch with him in his Manhattan townhouse.
Cate is married to John S. Kuhn, artistic director of Actors’ Theatre of Columbus, with whom she appeared in the January 2013 AVLT production, The History Boys. The pair, who reside in Mount Vernon, have been known to say, “We sleep in Mount Vernon, but we live in Columbus.”
