ELENA M. PERANTONI came to Columbus by way of Canfield, Ohio, Denison University, and, for a short time, New York City. She has a BFA in Theatre Performance from Denison, and has worked for the better part of a decade in theatre administration. Elena has worked with Available Light since 2009 in various capacities including stage management and performance. She remains incredibly thrilled to be a part of this group. In addition to being a part of the company, Elena also serves on the AVLT Board. Elena’s absolute favorites with Available Light have been Skyscrapers of the Midwest, How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and Jane Eyre: A Memory, A Fever, A Dream.
When not working on shows, Elena’s favorite activities include running, lifting and dropping heavy things (Crossfit,) and reading. She loves living in Columbus and taking advantage of the amazing home grown arts scene.
